LCD Modules with IOW56

Post by mhserrano »

Hi,

How many LCD Modules can drive IOW56 at same time?

Is it need to have additonal external circuits if we want to use those LCD modules with IOW56?

Thank you

The IO-Warrior chips are designed to control a single LCD module. For more modules additional circuitry is required.

If you need additional circuits to drive a ÖCD module depends on the module. Did you read the App Note about LCD modules and the IO-Warrior?

with the LCD-special-Mode its only one, but if you get an LCD with an SPI-Interface or IIC, you can have more than one.
I have one of these:

Not with the SPI-versions.

Depends, some modules need negative voltages to supply the display. I have just worked woth one that needs -15V.
