The JW24A8L-MOD and JW24A10L-MOD are available now. We are currently adding all the info to our website. Sealig has units in stock, though not yet online since they got the necessary info just today.

Whats the type of hall effect sensor its meant to work with?

The JW24A8L and JW24A10L accept any 0..5V signal as input.

The switch matrix works the same as with the JW24A8-16, with the exception that the same chip can be switched to the button behaviour of the JW24A8-8.

All information is now online:

Guido,
Why are they listing this as an acceleration sensor? To me its a 3 axis joystick controller. Getting ready to purchase, want to make sure. Replacing my A8 and A16 mods.

I was hoping for a pdf to read but.........
I intend to use the mod with rotary hall effect sensors. The sensor just needs to work in the 0-5v range, yes? Any sensor that is incompatible with the mod?
Eyeing a honeywell brand sensor.

Is there a minimum precentage of hall effect sensor rotation, that must be achieved. 60% was required for pots.

Looks like that sensor should be OK.

I will let Saelig know that they made a mistake in their product data.

The JoyWarrior identifies as a low power bus powered device, so it requests 100 mA off the host. That is the total including the couple mA it needs for itself.
