KeyWarrior produces keyboard input from digital signals

Post by Guido Körber »

The new KeyWarrior24D is intended for applications where external electronics must generate keystrokes. To send keystrokes to a computer a device puts the keycode as a digital code on eight input lines of KW24D and signals the presence of the data with a handshake line. Modifier keys (alt, shift...) can be added by extra lines. KeyWarrior24D handles the USB protocol and sends the data off as keystrokes. This allows to easily add a keyboard function to microcontroller or SPS based applications.

KeyWarrior24D is available immediately in DIL24 and SOIC24 packages. A ready to use module is going to be available in a few days.
