MW20V
The board we are laying out, the client has a 20 pin connector we are to output our USB to. They have two USB 5V, and advise that one is for us to utilize for the common line on the FSR. Is this really necessary or is there any advantage or disadvantage to using a dedicated 5V pin solely for the FSR common trace?

Re: MW20V
Without knowing how they get a second 5V line it is impossible answer this. But the resolution of the conversion for the sensor position is not very fine, so there should be no issues with a bit of noise on the 5V.

So far, working like a champ!
I should have elastomers next week, and per the funny interface for the client, i have to make up some test cables. But we hard-wired it today, and it works great. A little slow in response, but all FSR's seem to be. I will send you a sample!
