I would be obliged if anybody who has connected a LCD module to an IO-warrior 24 (built from starter kit) let me have the appropriate terminology for that item.
A manufacturer's name would be even better!

It is a flat ribbon cable. You can get them by the meter or already equipped with flat ribbon connectors. There are tons of manufacturers.
Check out the usual suspects like Mouser, DigiKey, Farnell etc. you might even be able to find then on eBay. You will need one with 16 pins for the IOW24KIT. The display side depends on the actual display you are using, they come with all kinds of pinouts.
