Pin's are High when connecting the IOW24

Post by nl2ttl »

Correct me if i'm wrong, but at the moment i have 4 relais on the IOW24. When i connect the IOW to the USB Port the pins are directly after init high.

The ports i talk about are:

P1.0
P1.1
P1.2
P1.3

This results in that my relais switch directly when i connect the IOW to the usb and my lamps wil turn on imiditly and thats not what i want. Is there a solution for it without a inverter IC.

what kind of driver do you use for your relay? if you use an pnp transistor, as it it shown in the datasheet, you won't have that problem...
