the axis values under Windows and under Linux are different

I tried the program under windows, axes values were :
X_min = Y_min = Z_min = -250
X_max = Y_max = Z_max = 250

While Linux file joytest.c we have:
X_min = -16000
X_max = 16000
Y_min = -14000
Y_max = 18000
Z_min = -10000
Z_max = 22000

How do I get the values of windows under linux?

Re: Calibrate JW24F8 on Linux

It's the resulting vector between axis X and axis Y. With Pythagorus the problem is the sign.

I have an other question, how can I do an average of the Axis?
I'd like to make an average of 10 samples, for a smoother signal.

Sampling Period for JW24F8

Hie,

I would like to know the value of the Sampling Period for JW24F8.
I need this because I have to calculate the speed.

I wait for your response.

Re: Calibrate JW24F8 on Linux

I have to calculate the angle between the axis X and axis Y.

Using the formula = arctan (y / x) I always find zero in rotation.

How can I do?

Please

Re: Calibrate JW24F8 on Linux

I found this file:
http://www.freescale.com/files/sensors/ ... AN3461.pdf

and I wanted to use the formula to find Ax.

Re: Calibrate JW24F8 on Linux

It's good I managed to calibrate by moving the z axis, now I have to represent these 3 axis on a graph, do you have an idea?

Re: Calibrate JW24F8 on Linux

There is somebody who have an idea, or better a syntax??

Resume: when I press Space key on the keyboard, all details of 3 axes take a new position 0

For example:
We mount the accelerometer on a table and pressing the space bar, the coordinates must be zero:
x = 0, y = 0, z = 0.
