It is definitely a point of confusion on I2C.

Some data sheets show the address in binary, adding the R/W bit, so you can clearly see how to interpret it and some do not mention the R/W bit. The last one is the worst option.

In such cases I usually use on of our IOW-Dongles and scan the bus.

Actually the JoyWarrior24 family has been replaced by the JoyWarrior28. So the JW24A8 series is no longer available but the new modules are at a similar price point, offering a lot more performance. The JW28A12xx modules would be a replacement.

Tatsächlich gibt es keine Möglichkeit die Dongles softwareseitig zu erkennen, da die Chips in den Dongles ganz normale IO-Warrior sind.

Na der erste Ansatz wäre es sich mal die Beispiele im SDK anzusehen. Da sind ja Beispiele für die Benutzung der ADC-Funktion und der I2C-Funktion.
