So as the resistive element is compressed to a lower resistance the time constant is reduced. But all four elements of the versapoint are externally provided 5v on one end is this correct? As the caps charge The KW inputs trigger at a certain point as the voltage rises, discharges the caps and reset...

KWCV sensor inputs

Wondering about interfacing to the N,E,S, and W inputs on the Keywarrior. These are designed according to the data sheet for use with an Interlink Versapoint joystick or similar. This means these inputs are analog correct? The analog data output by the FSR is converted by the KW chip into mouse emul...

So instead of the external divider it would be appropriate, when unused, to use only the 470k ( >100k) resistor from this pin to ground?

The data sheet specifies it as being internally pulled up, implying it is active low, if left unconnected shouldn't the KW reliably default to one state?

What else would be the purpose of an internal pull up?

Wow this sounds a bit scary for small producers. It can only help to consolidate the marketplace into fewer and fewer (giant corporation) hands.

Has this actually been implimented yet?

Why no posts here?

What, nobody building keyboards?

N-e-Way, so if the "power on" pin (KWCV) is internally pulled up then why would it need to be terminated by the specified 470k/100k voltage divider? Why should it not be left N.C. when unused?
