New product on Kickstarter: I2C to PWM controller

Post by Guido Körber »

Dimming LEDs with a single board computer is not always easy. The resolution of the PWM is sometimes insufficient, programming ist badly supported, or the PWM hardware is missing completely. In any case a power stage is missing to drive the LEDs.

So we decided to do something about this and started to develop LED-Warrior18 a dual channel 16 bit PWM dimmer with I2C interface.

We turned that into a Kickstarter to give you the chance of easy access to the very first units.

Short update: The Kickstarter campaign has reached the minimum funding goal, so it is definitely going through!

We are continuing to add more information and samples to our GitHub repository.

Today support for Node-RED to use LED-Warrior18 has been uploaded and some technical details are available too. The actual data sheet is coming soon…

We have just added an example how to use LED-Warrior18 with ESP modules, in this case with a ESP8266.
