LED Matrix!!

Hello good-afternoon,

I know that common anode Led Displays are most suitable for use with the led matrix on IOW40, but can i use common cathode led displays? There is any problem on doing this?

If you can build a driving circuit to fit common anode you can use them.

With the driving circuit presented on AN1 sheet i cant use common cathode led displays. Is that correct.

If so the displays presented on the circuit are common anode, right?

That depends on what kind of displays you use and how you want to arrange them. Since this is a matrix you can of course use common anode or cathode, it basically just affects how the LEDs are arranged within the matrix.
