Hi,
Is the Joywarrior board compatible with Win7 64?

Yes. But we don't have samples for x64 applications.
The DLL is a x32 version and will work with x64 OS.
If you want to create a x64 application you will recompile the iowkit.dll with x64 settings.

To elaborate a bit on this: Since the JoyWarrior is a HID joystick it does use system drivers and APIs, so the question does not even apply.
Re: Windows 7 64 Bit Compatability
Ok, just to make things clear, I had originally asked in my OP if the Joywarrior device is compatible with Win7 64 bit. I believe the answer is simply, "yes". Is this the case?Guido Körber wrote:To elaborate a bit on this: Since the JoyWarrior is a HID joystick it does use system drivers and APIs, so the question does not even apply.
Thank you,

The simple form of the answer is yes.
The more correct form is that the question does not apply since all the software involved in handling a HID joystick is part of the operating system, so basically you are asking if Windows 7 64 bit is compatible with itself.

It took Bill Gates and company twenty years+ to finally get that right! :P Thanks for the followup. I have been extensively researching boards like yours, and I think this one is the 'top dog". That you and your company actively support its users via this forum makes me feel even better about it.Guido Körber wrote:The simple form of the answer is yes.
