Post by mhserrano »

Is it necessary to add diodes to the matrix as well as in IOwarrior switch matrix?

That depends on which key combinations you want to allow to be pressed. Diodes are for preventing phantom keys.

The keyboard scheme that i will use never has key combinations like alt+shift+whatever. It has only keys by itself. In these case i think i dont need to use diodes?

Phantom keys can happen only if at least three keys are pressed at the same time and then only if in a certain combination (i.e. three corners of a rectangle in the matrix).
