Ich hab mir gerade das JoyWarrior24 F8 Kit gekauft, um am QCN teilzunehmen.
Nun bin ich dabei, eine stabile Halterung für den Sensor zu bauen und finde auf eine Frage keine Antwort:
Wie muß der Sensor im Raum orientiert sein??
Er hat ja die drei Achsen: X,Y,Z
Z scheint mir einfach, da es die "Hochachse" ist, also die vertikale Achse.
Nun muß aber noch X und Y auf die Richtungen NordSüd und OstWest ausgerichtet werden, oder?
Aber eben welche Achse in welche Richtung?
Oder bin ich jetzt total auf dem Holzweg?

Ha... nun habe ich nach langem Suchen doch noch selbst einen Hinweis gefunden.
Hier findet sich dieser Text:
The USB sensors come with a mini compass so you can align the sensor so the X direction points toward the North Pole. (Note: magnetic North is not always the same as True North. We typically adjust for this before shipping the sensor to you. The better we know the directions of motion, the more precisely we can pinpoint the earthquake!
Die X-Achse muß also in NordSüd Richung verlaufen.
