Building my first gamepad

Post by Klipeti »

Hello!
I'm new to this forum and new to JoyWarrior.

I'm planning to build something like old SNES controllers using JoyWarrior24GP32. I made a schematic with direct controlled buttons which should work. However, I thought that maybe I should make analog sticks for it. Pic: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=263enaf&s=6

Which JoyWarrior chip can be used for those analog sticks? JW24GP32 is used for other buttons. Because it's gonna be actually two devices, I need USB HUB inside the controller too.
Any suggestions? And what analog sticks should I use? Can I buy a ready analog stick that has potentionmeters in itself?

Probably you are better off with the JW24A8L, it supports up to 4 analog inputs and 16 buttons.

JW24A8L seems to work for my project, thanks for answering. :)

Can you give me a tip where I can purchase needed components in Euro currency? I have resistors and capacitors, and I don't need diodes. Even better if I can order chips, buttons and analog stick with potentiometers from the same store.

What are Auxiliary Outputs used for? Some kind of power LED?

The site looks promising, but I'm very bad at German, and Google translate can't translate the site. Do you know other sites that are in english or are translateable with Google?

Where are you located?

We don't have many sales partners though.

Sorry, I have no idea about any local dealers in Finland.
