We just started shipping our LED-Warrior04, an intelligent four channel constant current LED driver.
LED-Warrior04 can set the brightness on each channel with an individual 12 bit PWM generator, giving you 4096 steps of brightness (yes, it can dim down to 1/4096 = 0.024%). If you drive a RGBW-LED cluster with LED-Warrior04 this will give you 2^48 different hues or 281,474,976,710,656 aka 281 trillion.
Playing one every second will keep you busy for nearly 9 million years. Our warranty is not covering this long…
This of course is not yet including the LED-Warrior04 ability to program the forward current on each channel from 80 mA to 1000 mA in steps of 5 mA. That adds another 240 steps of brightness on each channel. So multiply the 281 trillion hues by another 3 billion possible current settings.

Re: Fun Fact about LED-Warrior04
Hello,
Does that works on any type of LED? I know that for fluorescent there are different types of driver in function of the tube.
Thanks

It works for LEDs. You may not use modules with any kind of driver, current source, or other circuit in it in combination with the LW04.
